Kevin and Nikki, the lovely owners, greeted us like family, going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable - even whipping up gluten-free bread for our dietary preferences! The Immaculate rooms and cozy common areas provided a beautiful setting to unwind after our daily adventures. Breakfasts here? A food lover's dream! The hearty Full Scottish set us up perfectly for our day of exploring nearby Cardoness Castle and the breathtaking landscapes that surround the area. This gem of a guesthouse is not just a stay; it's a true experience, making it an ideal base for those hiking, cycling, or enjoying the serene beauty of the Dumfries hillside. Honestly, I can't wait for my next visit - Woodlyn will always have a special place in my heart!
